The hurdle this video got me over was to understand that the cognitive exercise required by blogging itself makes blogging worth it.
The audience feedback helps me to know when I’ve done a good job in the exercise.
Watch Seth Godin & Tom Peters on blogging.

I enjoy your blog, Tim, and glad you started. Same story here as well and my blogging “attempts.” Seth is so ‘on’ when he talks about how writing forces us to “check” what we’re about to say or converse about…do we really understand it? Not sure if I got the author right, but I think it was Benjamin Franklin (maybe Albert Einstein) who said, “If you can’t write it in one sentence, you don’t understand it.” Good weekly discipline for preachers, eh?
Very true. The power of practicing coherent thought. And the backspace key. (Perhaps something along the lines of be slow to speak- fast to type, slow to hit publish.)
